Presentation Information

Contributed papers accepted for the Conference will be presented as either oral or poster presentations. Authors should indicate their preference for oral or poster presentations on the submission site; however, the Program Committee will make the final decision on the assignment of papers to specific sessions and the presentation format (oral or poster). Authors were notified by email by August 14, 2020 of their presentation format and specific section.

The deadline to upload your presentation has passed.  

Presenters need to be registered for the Conference by October 15.  If a presenter does not register, then the abstract will be considered a “No Show” and the prerecorded video presentation and/or electronic poster will not be included on the Conference platform. 

Presenter Deadlines

  • ASAP:  Review presenter guidelines (see links above)
  • October 7:  Submit presentation and complete Speaker Information & Release Form*
  • October 15 Complete Conference registration
  • Week of October 26:  Watch training video (sent at a later time)

Oral Presentations

  • The contributed presentation format is a 10-minute recorded talk by a registered author.  The format for an invited presentation is a 30-minute prerecorded talk by a registered author..
  • Presenters will be expected to be available to answer questions during the Conference week via a message chat board.  In addition, all presenters have been assigned a LIVE Q&A session during the week of the Conference. You are HIGHLY encouraged to attend this session so that you can participate in a live conversation with attendees. This session will be monitored by your Session Chair who will take questions both from the chat box and from live video participants.

Poster Presentations

  • Virtual posters will feature an electronic poster of well prepared visual materials about the work.
  • Presenters will have the option to submit a short video (up to 90 seconds) in a recorded presentation. (If you are participating in the Best Poster Award, you are required to submit a recorded short video.)
  • The presenting author must be registered at the Conference and available to answer questions during the Conference week via a message chat board.  In addition, all presenters have been assigned a LIVE Q&A session during the week of the Conference. You are HIGHLY encouraged to attend this session so that you can participate in a live conversation with attendees. This session will be monitored by your Session Chair who will take questions both from the chat box and from live video participants. (If you are participating in the Best Poster Award, you are required to attend the LIVE Q&A session.)

No Show Policy

If any of the following applies, then the paper will be recorded as a "No Show" and will not be published.

  • Abstracts that are listed in the program but are NOT presented virtually (no presentation file uploaded).
  • Abstracts that are presented by an unregistered author. 
  • Abstracts that did not have a registered author available and responsive during the Conference week to address questions on their chat board.
