The Honolulu International Airport (HNL) is located less than 10 miles from the Hilton, a 20-minute uber or taxi ride.

Did you know that booking your room at the Conference hotel helps keep costs down for attendees? In return for the use of meeting facilities, the Conference guarantees that a certain number of attendees will stay in the hotel, at the negotiated reduced rates. However, if the Conference does not meet the contracted sleeping room commitment, the hotel gets paid anyway. The financial penalties for unfilled rooms then end up hurting not only the current year’s Conference, but future years as well, as our ability to negotiate the best contract terms and hotel rates is weakened. The end result is that the Conference registration fee is subject to significant yearly increases.

What if we don't contract for sleeping rooms? Simply put, sleeping room rates will be higher for attendees and the conference will incur additional expenses for meeting room rental fees, resulting in future conference registration fees being pushed higher and higher.

Note: You may find that internet brokers such as Orbitz or Kayak will offer a few rooms in their inventory at a lower price than the conference is offering. There are often date restrictions and penalties associated with these rates, however, if you do somehow obtain a better rate than the one offered by the Conference, your room nights will still be counted toward our contracted sleeping room block.
